Pointe Works is a privately run dance school, providing a happy, safe and supportive environment in which students can explore their individual creativity whilst acquiring dance skills and techniques. It welcomes students of all abilities, ages, nationalities, races, genders, and religious backgrounds, promoting equality and inclusion in its teaching. Complying with current legal requirements and national policies and guidance on the safe guarding and well being of children, Pointe Works upholds the code of professional conduct laid down by the Royal Academy of Dance and the Council for Dance Education and Training. In assisting students to maximise their dance potential, Pointe Works is committed to continuing professional development to ensure the knowledge and teaching practice remains at a consistently high standard.

Pointe Works provides dance classes where students can have fun and feel valued. Pointe Works has been inspired by teachers who have succeeded in imparting the joy of performance alongside core technical skills.

Pointe Works holds 'Recognised School' status with the Council for Dance Education and Training. Owner and founder of Pointe Works, Nicolle Higgins, is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and a member of their Regional Advisory Committee for Cheshire.
